Fetus in a Jar retake by TheSpazOutLoud Fetus in a Jar retake by TheSpazOutLoud
I decided to retake the photo of my Fetus in a Jar with better lighting and a plain background. Rather than my desk lamp with my room in background. haha

The original take = [link]

size= 6"x4"x4"
medium= clay, resin, jar

If you want one I'll make one for you. ^_^ --> Etsy [link]

It's fake. I sculpted it from clay.

nah. all the stuff I have here is fake. All the little fetus stuff are sculpted from clay. So are the pulled teeth I have in my gallery and all my special effects makeup. If something's real I note that it is.

So no worries. :)

Great work. I made one out of tinfoil and wires recently, and I am not sure what should I cover it to achieve the realistic look. I was thinking of clay, but I'm afraid it won't work well if I store the sculpture in water instead of resin. Advice?

I used polymer clay and placed it inside that faux water stuff you get in a floral dept of a craft store.

Interesting. Is it floating in water, or a solid clear resin?

It's in a gel resin that's reusable. :)

Love the retake, but this one lost a bit of the eerie-feel the other one had. I don't know why. Still amazing, though! (:

thanks! I think it's because I used a cooler light rather than the warmer light I used before. The baby looks less "pickled." hahha

It's not a real fetus. I sculpted the fetus and put it in a jar. ^_^

Yeah, I've always seen the real fetus in jars and wanted one but they're really expensive so I decided to make my own.

And thank you again.

How'd you find a cow fetus?
